***All classes at this location are canceled*** Class: Learn to Make Prebiotic and Probiotic Rich Lacto-Fermented Vegetables.

  • The Co-op at Shoal Creek 6816 North Church Road Pleasant Valley, MO, 64068 United States (map)

Learn how to easily make your vegetables more flavorful, easier to digest, and even more nutritious. By lacto fermenting vegetables, you increase the bioavailability of nutrients, increase the nutritional value and enzyme concentration, and neutralize any toxic substances. Fermented foods add much needed amounts of probiotics and beneficial enzymes to our bodies, which in turn make our brains happy! Have you heard of the Gut/Brain Connection? A healthy gut helps reduce stress and anxiety, which in turn helps your gut to digest and absorb food better, and the circle goes round and round! In this class you will learn how to make fermented vegetables, starting with one of the most simple, sauerkraut. You will then learn how to make any vegetable into a lactose fermented creation of your own.

This class is a safe space and judgement free zone. Stephanie offers 25 years of experience and knowledge, with many 1000's of hours of training and professional education, with experts in many heath, wellness, and natural living fields.
